Fitting and first use
Remove the headrests first. Slide the backrest cover down over the seat from the top, then work the seat-base cover into position, tucking the edges into the gap between the cushion and the plastic trim. Refit the headrests so their posts pass through the cover openings. On the rear bench, feed the covers through the gap at the seat back and secure the elastic and hooks underneath, where they cannot be felt by a passenger. Allow a day or two for the leather to settle into the seat shape — it will look tighter after it has warmed and taken the contours.
Care and maintenance
Wipe with a soft damp cloth, then dry with a microfibre towel. Use a pH-neutral leather cleaner rather than detergent or a household spray, and avoid silicone-based dressings on the seating surfaces, which make them slippery. Vacuum the seams and the gap between the cushion and the backrest, where crumbs collect.
