Universal Waterproof PEVA Car Cover, All-Weather — a two-layer car cover with a 125 gsm PEVA outer shell bonded to a soft cotton lining, protecting paint and glass from rain, snow, hail, frost and UV throughout the year. The cotton lining is the part that matters: it sits against the paintwork so the cover does not abrade the lacquer as it moves in the wind.
Why it is worth fitting
A car parked outdoors takes damage from three directions at once. Water sits on the paint and works into the panel seams, where it eventually becomes corrosion. Frost and hail mark the clearcoat. And ultraviolet light fades both the paint and every plastic and rubber part it reaches. A cover addresses all three, but cheap covers create a fourth problem: a hard-backed or unlined cover flaps against dusty paintwork and abrades the lacquer, so a cover meant to protect the car ends up polishing fine scratches into it. The lining is what prevents that. This one uses a waterproof PEVA outer shell bonded to a soft cotton inner layer, so grit is trapped in the cotton rather than dragged across the finish, while the outer shell keeps the water out. Optional door zippers, reflective stripes and mirror covers let you match the cover to how the car is actually parked.

Will it fit?
Available in universal sizes from S to XXL, or cut to your own dimensions. Sizing is the one thing worth getting right: a cover that is too short leaves the bumpers and the lower panels exposed, while one that is too long leaves surplus material under the hem, which is exactly where grit collects and where wind movement does its damage. Send us the overall length, width and height of the vehicle and the correct size will be specified. Remove or fold down the radio antenna before fitting if it does not detach, and be aware that a cover is not suitable for a car with a wet or dirty roof — wash it first.
Fitting and first use
Wash and dry the car before the first fitting; a cover laid over road film traps that grit against the paint. Start at the front and unroll the cover backwards over the roof, with the cotton side down. Work the material down over the bumpers and, on the size with mirror covers, slip those over the mirrors first to anchor the cover. Secure the underbody straps or the hem elastics at both ends, and in windy locations use the additional tie-down points. Two people make this much easier and reduce the chance of dragging the cover across the paint. Remove it the same way, rolling rather than pulling it off, so the dirty outer face never touches the finish.
Care and maintenance
Shake the cover out before storing it to remove grit, and store it in its bag rather than folded on a shelf where dust settles. Wash it once or twice a year on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent and let it air dry completely — never put it away damp, because a PEVA cover stored wet develops a smell and can transfer it to the cotton lining. Check the lining for embedded grit each time you fit it; that grit is what causes scuffing. Avoid fitting a cover over a warm bonnet or a wet car, and do not use it on a vehicle with sharp aftermarket accessories such as a roof rack, which will tear the fabric.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know which size to order?
Measure the vehicle’s overall length, width including the mirrors, and height. Give us those three figures and the correct size will be specified, because buying by model name alone is the usual reason a cover fits badly.
Will a cover scratch my paint?
Not this one, because the inner face is cotton rather than a hard synthetic backing, so the lining holds grit instead of dragging it across the lacquer. It must still be fitted to a clean car — no cover protects paint that is already covered in road film.
Can I use it indoors as well as outdoors?
Yes. It works as a dust cover in a garage as well as weather protection outside.
Is it safe to leave on all winter?
It is designed for year-round outdoor use and the outer shell is waterproof. Do refasten the underbody straps regularly, because wind is what works a cover loose over the course of a winter.
